Diamond

The Annenberg Diamond
This spectacular square emerald-cut, D colour, Flawless 32.01 carat diamond mounted on a ring and flanked by two pear-shaped diamonds weighing 1.50 and 1.61 carats will be the leading highlight of “Jewels: The New York Sale” on October 21, 2009. The viewing is scheduled between October 16 and 20, 2009 at Christie’s Rockefeller Center Galleries, New York. The Diamond price is estimated between $3-5 million and will be among the most highly-anticipated jewels offered at the auction.

Pink-Diamond

The Vivid Pink Diamond
This extremely rare 5 carat cushion-set pink diamond was set in a “cushion cut” by Graff and it comes from a private collection. The stone is called “The Vivid Pink Diamond” because its not just any fancy vivid pink diamond. The diamond has a perfect shade of bubblegum pink and supposedly shows no trace of any secondary colour which is what makes it truly exceptional.
For those who are not aware of fancy diamods, Pinks are typically the most sought after and rarest colour diamonds. Estimated at HK$39- $55 million (US$5-7 million) “The Vivid Pink” will be the leading piece of Christie’s Hong Sale of Extraordinary Jewels to be held on December 1. The Diamond will be going on a display tour to Singapore, New York, Bangkok, Geneva and Taipei starting October
