We give you a list of our favourite novels where the jewellery was just as precious as the protagonists! Call it an addiction if you may, but intricate descriptions of beautiful bijouterie give us a high like no other. No wonder then that, whether it’s movies or books, the mention of baubles has us in a tizzy. So from chic-lit to classics, we round up 5 novels, where the mention of charms deserves to be acknowledged! Tale of Trinkets Dazzling Dragonfly: Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella This hilarious novel revolves the ghost of Sadie, who haunts her great-niece in the form of a ’20s flapper girl. Sadie won’t rest until she finds her valuable necklace – made of beads with an iridescent, pale yellow dragonfly pendant. What happens next? Well, we aren’t ones to read and tell! Quest for the Rock: Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger Three best friends, unhappy with the way their lives have turned out, make a pact to turn things around. Our favourite is Adriana – the one who yearns for the iconic five-carat Harry Winston diamond rock just as much as we do! Happiest Place on Earth: Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote We couldn’t agree more with Holly Golightly, who believes that nothing bad can ever happen at Tiffany’s. The coveted robin egg blue box and sparkling stunners on display make us wish we could camp out at Tiffany’s every single day. Decadent Daisy: The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald Oh, what we’d give to be Daisy Buchanan, a stylish lady always adorned in pearls and diamonds! The mention of the string of pearls her husband gifts her a day before their wedding took our breath away. The necklace was valued at $350 in the 1920s, which would now equal $4.7 million! The Sparkling Sleuth: James Bond – Diamonds are Forever by Ian Fleming Tiffany Case (name inspired by Tiffany’s) is the only thing that stands between Bond and a diamond-smuggling ring. Action, thrill, diamonds, chase, Bond, and some more diamonds – this one had us wanting to go on a diamond heist of our own!  Got a favourite?  Want some jewellery that will have writers waxing lyrical? Simply call up our diamonds experts @ 1800-102-0103 or register for a FREE DIAMOND CONSULTATION HERE.
