You go girls! Blog_Main_Image As we celebrated Boss’ Day yesterday, the CaratLane HQs was buzzing with the unanimous recognition of the fact that women indeed know how to work that ‘#girlboss’ label. They make great bosses, often times even better than their peers. We decided to delve deep into what gives them this power to rule. They are great at multi-tasking multitask It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that most women are genetically programmed with super management skills. From being well on top of their bursting work schedule to remembering even the most far-flung relative’s birthday, they can manage it all effortlessly! No wonder then that they can run from a breakfast meeting to a 2-hour Skype call to an internal discussion while even finishing all that paperwork without breaking a sweat. They are nurturing nurturing Women thrive on good interpersonal relationships and bonds as well as strong communication. Having a rapport with their team and seeing them grow along with her is a no-brainer for a female boss. When you nurture a team, rather than command (or try to own it!), it’s bound to take you places, right? They know how to balance emotion with logic Like-a-boss-GIFS Let’s face it—women know how to play both good cop and bad cop. They’ll be soft, tender and caring when it’s required but are not afraid to show tough love when the situation demands it either.  They prove that you can be influential and still be edgy. You can be successful and still be yourself. Most importantly, to be powerful doesn’t mean you have to be boring. They are passionate passionate It is believed that women never touch anything with half their heart. And there is no better example for the workforce than such passion, commitment and loyalty to one’s work. It’s bound to rub onto those around her, which is win-win for everyone involved! Being a girl boss is all about taking the chance to shape the world in the image of the things you care about, gaining a sense of agency, and pick up a few accolades along the way.
