Travelista Charanya Ramesh opens up her passport and travel log for us and gives us a glimpse into her globe-trotting lifestyle! 
“When in doubt, travel,” it is said. Sounds like the kind of advice avid traveller and CEO of leading tourism company Shakti Tours & Travels, Charanya Ramesh would dish out. Owing to her education in travel and tourism as well as her father’s stronghold in the industry, the Chennai gal’s fate as a travelista was sealed pretty early. And you wont hear her complaining about it! “I have travelled to 36 countries and love to plan holidays for others, it gives me so much happiness!” she quips adding that she loves the intensity of running this business. So where is the entrepreneur who loves Switzerland, considers Sri Lanka her second home and is enamored by the old-world charm of Scotland headed to next? “I am off to Dubai with a corporate group followed by Maldives for short trip. After that, it’s two weeks of down time in Fiji!” Did we mention how jealous we are? We decided to put this globetrotter to the test and asked her to suggest some hot travel destinations to us. “Bali is best for honeymooners while Philippines is perfect for party animals. Eastern Europe like Prague, Croatia, Greece and Turkey are gaining popularity too,” pat comes the reply. 
The driven go-getter has the charisma to carry herself well in everything from a pencil skirt and blazer to a simple dress. “I prefer to pair my clothing with pretty studs or danglers and chic rings, while keeping the rest of my accessories minimal,” she signs off, but not before adding that she often turns to CaratLane to add elegance and personality to her repertoire.
